We are looking for highly motivated individuals to fill Software Engineering positions in our Trumbull, CT office. The responsibilities of the positions include all phases of the software development lifecycle for our messaging product line. The candidate will be expected to work on a wide-range of development tasks in partnership with other members of the team.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ for distributed applications and experience working in a multi-threaded environment. Experience with SUN CMT architecture is a plus
- Strong background with development of distributed applications, achieving highly scalable and fault tolerance designs.
- Strong technical background with emphasis on real time systems.
- Development experience on Unix platforms (Solaris, AIX and Linux) and STREAMS framework a plus
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented design principals.
- Knowledge of Java is desirable
- Knowledge of Telecom Protocols is desirable (CAMEL, INAP, AIN, WIN, etc.) and significant experience with SIP and SS7 a plus.
- The candidate must work well in a team environment and must have very good communication skills.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related disciplines with 4-8 years of software development experience.
