NewNet’s newly acquired, unique, advanced Integrated Media Delivery platform is designed to give operators the ability to rapidly develop and deploy media rich applications to their subscribers. The high performance platform is optimized to push and pull multimedia content over existing 2.5 or 3G infrastructure, providing a new source of high growth revenue for mobile carriers. The platform provides an end to end solution environment that facilitates the development, delivery and tracking of multimedia A2P, P2A and P2P campaigns. Core to the service creation layer, the Campaign Creation Module allows enterprise customers, content providers, advertisers, and others to compile and distribute multimedia content to targeted communities. The campaign creation module also provides management statistics to allow real time monitoring of a campaign’s effectiveness.

The highly scalable platform allows carriers and content owners to convert live video streams to MMS in real-time, enabling live content broadcast over MMS. Higher valued content reaches a broader range of subscriber, enabling a new source of revenue for carriers while taking advantage of their existing network resources. The Viral Tracking capabilities of the platform enable content owners to monitor the sharing of content among users. This feature supports more granular subscriber segmentation, allowing carriers and content owners to more effectively model and focus their campaigns.

NewNet’s SS7 signaling protocol solutions, which are integrated into our Distributed7 Application Development Platform, are widely deployed and serve as the foundation for innovative, mission critical applications developed by major telecom equipment manufactures. Distributed7, a robust, scalable signaling platform, have enabled rapid development and deployment of a wide spectrum of carrier grade, revenue generating and compliance applications.

Our Mobile Solutions and Applications portfolio consists of highly scalable, market proven platforms for managing and delivering text and multimedia messages. NewNet has nearly 20 years of experience delivering SMSC and SMS router platforms worldwide. We have extended our messaging infrastructure portfolio to include an IP Unified Messaging platform, and through our partnerships, we offer industry leading USSD gateway, MultiMedia Service Center, next generation SMSC and Router, SMS Spam filtering Steering of Roaming. NewNet has entered into a reseller agreement with Telenity’s for their revenue generating subscriber mobile applications such as Smart Ads, Pay for Me, SmartConnect and People Finder Service.

NewNet's Total Control® PDSN portfolio enables packet data services for CDMA2000 wireless users. The PDSN portfolio includes Total Control 1000 and Total Control 3100 platforms, each geared for different applications. The Total Control 1000 and Total Control 3100 platforms are optimally deployed in wide area networks. The newly introduced TC10000 runs on industry standard ATCA platform architecture and achieves unsurpassed scalability and performance.

The Total Control PDSNs are based on 3GPP2 standards specifications and are interoperable with other standards-based network elements. NewNet's Total Control 3100 platform is also an Access Serving Network gateway in a WiMAX network.

Through the acquisition of Traxcom Technologies, NewNet has expanded its portfolio to include secure transaction processing infrastructure. The Traxcom Secure Transaction Processing platform implements the latest in secure IP transport technology to provide a cost effective means to process thousands of simulations transactions per second. The Traxcom Transaction Processing portfolio consists of highly scalable, carrier grader solutions that have been deployed by major carriers worldwide.

History

Originally founded in 1989 as EBS, the company was the first to develop and deploy a standards based SS7 signaling platform for the telecommunications industry. In 1991 EBS became NewNet and subsequently was acquired by ADC Telecommunications in 1997 to become ADC NewNet. In 2001 ADC NewNet became the ADC Enhanced Service Division with the combination of the messaging products of Centigram Communications. In 2001, SS8 Networks acquired the Enhanced Services Division (ESD) of ADC Telecommunications. In 2007, NewNet Communication Technologies, a Skyview Capital portfolio company,  acquired the signaling and SMS products from SS8 Networks in a transaction completed between SS8.

In 2009, NewNet entetered into reseller agreements with Telenity and Cellusys to deliver messaging infrastructure products and subscriber mobile applications.

In 2010 NewNet acquired the IP Messaging and PDSN product lines from UTStarcom.

NewNet is a privately held company with headquarters in Connecticut. and principal US locations in Illinois and California as well as significant engineering centers in India and Romania. Sales and support resources are deployed globally.
