IP Access Transaction Gateway acts as a transaction protocol routing gateway for IP POS devices initiating transactions over TCP/IP networks. This system routes the transaction data based on the major industry standard transaction protocols like VISA I, VISA II, ISO 8583 and TPDU. The IP TG normally located at the carriers or acquirers ensures that the transactions are routed to the authorization host servers supporting these standards or other similar standards and returns the response from the host to the IP POS devices. This application runs on the Access Router Card (ARC) in the Total Control 1000 Gateway and provides an option for the customers of TC1000 chassis to re-use this system hardware with new application software
