SubProfile creates and updates the unique subscriber fingerprint of preferences, multimedia subscriptions and valuable demographics for unrivaled customer profiling for use in-house or with third-party agencies. Transcode allows for real-time conversion and translation of multiple media formats including images, ringtones, audio, and video formats. Transcoding ensures that content is delivered in the most suitable format (file size, screen size, file type, SMIL version etc) for the receiving handset. DataTrack monitors and measures the response of campaigns and services in real-time, including viral forwarding; giving operators a wealth of analytical data for precision targeting either in-house or securely to third-party agencies. ViralTrack can be set to “identify” any image or video and can then track that content item as it is forwarded via MMS across a network. DeviceDetect identifies new 2.5 or 3G capable handsets registering in the network and configures them to ensure new multimedia services can be highlighted accurately for their opt-in preferences. Library is the content management module to store the content available on the platform. IncentiveVault holds a tally of incentives that are offered as part of a campaign. For example, a campaign may offer a free item if a coupon is downloaded. Every time the coupon is downloaded the incentive vault deducts one item from the total assigned to the campaign. An item could be anything offered and trackable – voice/WAP minutes, SMS, MMS, mobile games, cans of soda etc. ActivityAnalyzer enables the activity history of an individual subscriber to be viewed across all bearers and campaigns. Information regarding the recipient behavior is stored in the Sub Profile Database. VideoCenter provides personalized 2.5G & 3G video services and internet connectivity in a centralized, user friendly format for the full multimedia experience. ServiceControl optimizes the connectivity and delivery of third-party content and applications with full throughput control and prioritization. SpamFilter enforces effective policing of spam and content filtering. AntiVirus keeps subscribers handsets, and the network, free of malicious files and potentially damaging data. Legacy - All MMSC vendors offer “Legacy Management” i.e. logic that’s applied to MMS messages which are sent to handsets which are not capable of receiving MMS. Generally the solution depends on an “MBox” solution (MMS2Web), whereby the subscriber is sent an SMS with a link to a portal address and asked to use a password to access the MMS that they have been sent. This is generally a broken solution as it depends on the subscriber being able to access the web on their phone (or via a PC and having to enter a convoluted URL) and then remembering their portal username and password. The Mobile Multimedia Platform extends this functionality with a suite of options for MMS (and also for other bearers if required) including forwarding to a nominated e-mail number – or even creating an e-mail account of MSISDN@CSP.com for each MSISDN on the network. Billing - The platform provides billing solutions for both post-paid and pre-paid subscribers. For Post-Paid subscribers CDR’s are provided as standard. The format is customizable to follow the existing, preferred CSP CDR format. For Pre-Paid billing the Billing diameter module provides standardized integration to the CSP real-time billing infrastructure.
